Evergreen Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full-time associate veterinarian to join our privately owned, small animal general practice located in Oxford, Connecticut.

We provide a wide range of preventative and illness services, including:

  • Digital X-rays (including dental)

  • In-house lab testing and reference lab support through Antech

  • Point-of-care ultrasound

  • Separate dental and surgical suites

  • Visiting specialists for echocardiograms and abdominal ultrasounds

  • A boarded surgeon available for orthopedic procedures

We are also within driving distance of several excellent referral facilities. No patients are hospitalized overnight, and there are no boarding or on-call responsibilities.

We are looking for a part time or full-time on-site Veterinary Technician or assistant at Evergreen Veterinary Clinic, PC in Oxford, CT. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting veterinarians in providing care for animals, performing routine lab work, administering medication, and educating pet owners. Strength in communication and and animal restraint are critical skills for the position.

We pride ourselves on high standards of medicine as well as offering the ability to maintain a work life balance. No late nights, no on call hours and limited weekend hours required. None of our patients stay in the facility for overnight care, alleviating the burden of after hours care in clinic as well. We recognize our veterinary technical staff are an integral part of our day to day function and are looking to find another technician or assistant to fit with our team. In addition to hourly pay (commensurate with experience), health insurance benefits, 401K, life insurance and disability insurance policies are offered.
